Rotary has changed

It is no longer a rule of Rotary that you attend all meetings. We offer a varied program of guest speakers and events throughout the year and if you visit our Facebook page you’ll get an idea of some of the activities the club undertakes.  We hope that you find them interesting and will want to attend.

Fellowship and friendship is our goal and the mission is Service Above Self.

Why not join us for dinner one night, the meal is on us, bring your partner we’ll pay for both of you, in fact come twice on us, then you can decide if we suit you and you suit our club.

As a member you will sit on one of the following committees, the committees meetings once a month and are where we decide what our future club projects will be and how we bring them to fruition.

  • Community Service
  • Youth
  • Vocational
  • International

About Rotary

Rotary is an international organisation and is made up of more than 33,000 Rotary clubs in over 200 countries and geographical areas. The members of these autonomous clubs are called Rotarians, and they form a global network of 1.2 million business and professional leaders, all volunteering their time and talents to serve their communities and the world.

Each year the Rotary International President presents their theme for the coming year. Mark Daniel Maloney, the President for 2019-2020 has made his theme, “Rotary Connects The World”.

In 2019-2020, it will be our challenge to strengthen the many ways that Rotary Connects the World, building the connections that allow talented, thoughtful, and generous people to unite and take meaningful action through Rotary service.

Rotary's Vision

Together, we see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change — across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.
