BBQ Rockingham Rotary Markets

BBQ Information

The Rotary Club of Rockingham has a fully contained BBQ trailer at the market that is offered to community and sporting groups wishing to fund raise for their club. The trailer is for use at the market exclusively and sells sausage sizzles, bacon & egg burgers and drinks. The group operating the BBQ would have the trailer every Sunday morning for a full calendar month.

The markets do not operate if the car park is to be used for another event or in inclement weather.

There is a $100 bond that is collected on the first Sunday of the month and returned on the last Sunday of the month following an inspection of the trailer. There is also a weekly hire fee of $60 that is collected each week.

As this fundraiser is popular you would be added to our current waiting list.

Your group would be responsible to set up at 6.00am and close down at the end of the morning at approximately 11.30am.

Please refer to the documents below that cover:

1.    Recommended Weekly Shopping List

2.    Food Safety

3.    Responsibilities and Cleaning

At least one member each week should have completed the BBQ food handling course. Details on the course can be found in the Food Safety document.

On the first Sunday of the month there will be a Rotarian on duty to show the set-up procedures to you. It is then the responsibility of the group to pass this information to group members in following weeks.

Should you require any further information please contact us.
